Matrimony

Our priest and staff are pleased to be working with you in preparing for the celebration of your marriage. Many other members of our Parish Community will also assist you in this important time of preparation and the beginning of your living the Marriage Vocation.  Marriage is central to the meaning of the Church.  You are beginning a new call in the Body of Christ through your commitment in Christian Marriage and we want to be of every assistance to you. Our program of preparation is designed to give you the best in guidance and support within our diocesan guidelines which require that those wishing to be married participate in a six-month program of preparation, personal instruction by a priest and a marriage retreat sponsored by the diocese.

Please contact the parish office to schedule an interview with Fr. Bill to begin your preparation to celebrate the sacrament of marriage and to schedule a meeting with a Minister of Music to guide you as you plan liturgical music for your Nuptial Mass or Wedding. We have a wide range of liturgical musical traditions from which you may select music which reflects your style and personality while also is in keeping with liturgical form, tradition, and law.  While we are blessed with many fine musicians in our area, it is important to make certain that the musicians and their repertoire compliment your Nuptial Mass or wedding. It is, therefore, essential to have a trained liturgical musician involved in this selection process.
