St. Monica is a powerful intercessor for those who have wandered from the faith or have never known the love of Jesus Christ and His Church. She prayed and fasted many years for her family’s conversion, and the Lord heard her cries and rewarded her perseverance when her son, St. Augustine (Doctor of the Church), and her husband turned to Jesus, were converted, and found peace.
St. Thomas à Becket has a monthly St. Monica Novena in which Fr. Dyer offers his private Mass intention for the men, women and children enrolled in the Novena. To enroll your loved-ones in the Novena, simply enter their names in the form below. Their names will then be placed into a box, placed before the Altar and they will receive the Grace of the Holy Mass intention. You are encouraged to join your prayers to those of Fr. Dyer’s by praying the St. Monica Devotion prayers each month. The Novena begins on the third Thursday of each month and continues for nine days.
